Job Description
The Peabody Memphis is seeking an exceptional Luxury Tour Chauffeur with a passion for history and local culture to provide bespoke historical and city tours for our discerning guests. This pivotal role involves safely transporting guests in luxury vehicles, while also serving as a knowledgeable and engaging guide, sharing compelling stories and facts about Memphis’s rich heritage and vibrant attractions. You will be responsible for creating memorable and personalized experiences that reflect the prestige of The Peabody Memphis. Ideal candidates will possess impeccable driving skills, a strong command of Memphis history, and outstanding customer service abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate luxury vehicles safely and professionally for guest transportation and guided tours.
- Conduct engaging and informative historical and city tours, providing commentary on key landmarks, cultural sites, and points of interest in Memphis.
- Assist guests with luggage and ensure their comfort and satisfaction throughout their journey.
- Maintain the cleanliness and pristine condition of company vehicles.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Plan and execute optimal routes, considering guest preferences and current traffic conditions.
- Handle guest inquiries and special requests with professionalism and discretion.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, reflecting the luxury brand image.
- Provide recommendations for dining, entertainment, and other local attractions.
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption.
Required Skills
- Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a professional chauffeur or luxury driver.
- Excellent knowledge of Memphis history, landmarks, and cultural attractions.
