Job Description

Home Instead in Cleveland is seeking empathetic and dedicated individuals to join our team as In-Home Support Associates. No prior experience is required, and you don’t even need a resume to apply! As an In-Home Support Associate, you will provide essential non-medical support to seniors, helping them maintain their independence and enjoy a higher quality of life in their own homes. Key Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and engage in stimulating activities with clients.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, meal preparation, and tidying up.
- Run errands such as grocery shopping, prescription pickups, and other appointments.
- Offer personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting (training provided).
- Remind clients to take medication at appropriate times.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's health or behavior to the care coordinator.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients.
- Document care activities and client observations accurately.
Required Skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor

- Reliable and punctual
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong sense of empathy and respect for seniors
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required for client visits)
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Previous experience caring for a family member or friend (informal experience is valued!)
- Ability to adapt to various home environments and client needs
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
