Job Description

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Global Payroll Clerk to join our finance team. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from home while contributing to a globally recognized brand. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing multi-country payrolls, ensuring accuracy, compliance with local regulations, and timely execution. You will play a crucial role in maintaining payroll data integrity, supporting employee inquiries, and contributing to process improvements within our global payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process end-to-end payroll for multiple international regions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Verify and input payroll data, including new hires, terminations, changes in compensation, benefits, and deductions.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant local, national, and international payroll laws and regulations.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare and submit necessary payroll reports to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with HR, finance, and other departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end payroll closing procedures.
  • Participate in the implementation and testing of new payroll systems or enhancements.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all payroll information.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in global or multi-country payroll processing.
  • Strong understanding of payroll principles and employment tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., SAP, Workday, ADP).
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, complex formulas).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Payroll certification (e.g., CIPP, CPP).
  • Experience with global HRIS systems.
  • Fluency in additional languages relevant to Apple's global footprint.
