Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and motivated General Utility Hand to provide essential all-areas warehouse support. In this critical role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our Boulder facility. This is an entry-level position perfect for individuals eager to learn and contribute to a fast-paced logistics environment. You will be a vital part of our team, helping us maintain high standards of organization, safety, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general warehouse duties including sorting, packing, loading, and unloading materials.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (training provided if needed).
- Assist with inventory management, including counting, organizing, and relocating stock.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor, aisles, and workstations.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
- Support various departments with ad-hoc tasks as required to meet operational demands.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 49 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Capability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
- Basic communication and interpersonal skills.
- Punctual and reliable attendance.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Adherence to all safety guidelines and company policies.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, production, or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Forklift certification (not required, but a plus).
