Job Description
We are seeking a highly meticulous and experienced Google Account Auditor to join our remote team. This role will focus on ensuring the accuracy and financial integrity of various accounts, with a particular emphasis on digital platforms, potentially including Google Ads, Google Cloud, and other related financial operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of auditing principles, financial analysis, and a keen eye for detail. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with a global leader in professional services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audits of financial records and transactions related to Google accounts and platforms.
- Verify the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial data with established accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and investigate discrepancies, anomalies, and potential areas of financial risk.
- Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, recommendations for corrective actions, and process improvements.
- Collaborate closely with internal finance teams, external stakeholders, and clients to resolve audit-related issues.
- Utilize advanced data analytics tools and techniques to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay current with industry trends, accounting standards, and best practices in digital finance and auditing.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of audit methodologies specific to digital advertising and cloud service accounts.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in financial auditing or accounting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP) and auditing standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel for data analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with digital advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads) or cloud billing systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent).
- Previous experience working for a 'Big Four' accounting firm or similar large professional services organization.
- Experience with SQL or other database query languages.
- Familiarity with Google's financial reporting structures or large-scale digital platform auditing.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
