Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of city parks, public grounds, and municipal facilities.
- Assist with landscaping tasks, including mowing, trimming, planting, and waste removal.
- Support street and sidewalk maintenance, including minor repairs and debris clearing.
- Operate and maintain various hand tools and light machinery safely and efficiently.
- Report maintenance issues, hazards, or repair needs to supervisors promptly.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and city regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other city departments.
Required Skills
- Must be 18 years old at the time of application.
- High school diploma or equivalent (or actively pursuing/recently completed).
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Valid driver's license (or ability to obtain one within a probationary period).
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with manual labor, landscaping, or outdoor work (even volunteer).
