Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative R&D Scientist to join our dynamic Pharmaceutical Research & Development team in Wesley Chapel, FL. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research and the development of novel therapeutic solutions. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, executing, and interpreting experiments to advance our pipeline, working across various stages of drug discovery and development. Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute complex scientific experiments, including method development, optimization, and validation.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data, draw conclusions, and present findings to cross-functional teams.
- Develop and implement new technologies and methodologies to enhance research capabilities and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of experimental procedures, results, and analyses.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues from various disciplines, including chemists, biologists, and engineers.
- Contribute to scientific publications, patent applications, and regulatory submissions as appropriate.
- Stay current with scientific literature, industry trends, and new technologies relevant to pharmaceutical R&D.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Required Skills
- Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field.
- Minimum of 3 years of post-doctoral or industry experience in pharmaceutical R&D.
- Strong theoretical and practical understanding of drug discovery and development processes.
- Proficiency in a variety of analytical techniques (e.g., HPLC, LC-MS, spectroscopy, PCR, cell-based assays).
- Excellent experimental design, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with late-stage drug development or formulation science.
- Knowledge of cGMP/GLP regulations.
- Experience with statistical software for data analysis.
- Track record of scientific publications or presentations.
- Familiarity with automation and high-throughput screening technologies.
