Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Online Fact Checker to join our junior research team. This unique role focuses specifically on verifying the accuracy and reliability of content designed for a 16-year-old teen audience across various digital platforms. You will play a critical part in upholding our commitment to truth and protecting our younger audience from misinformation. Key Responsibilities

  • Rigorously fact-check digital content, articles, social media posts, and multimedia specifically targeting 16-year-old teens for factual accuracy, data integrity, and source credibility.
  • Conduct in-depth online research using a variety of reliable sources, databases, and search techniques.
  • Identify and flag potential inaccuracies, misleading information, or biased content.
  • Provide clear, concise, and evidence-based justifications for all findings.
  • Collaborate with content creators, editors, and educational specialists to ensure factual correctness prior to publication.
  • Stay informed on current events, trending topics, and common misinformation narratives relevant to a teen demographic.
  • Maintain meticulous records of research findings and verification processes.
