Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Control Packer to join our dynamic team in Downtown Glendale. In this essential role, you will be responsible for meticulously inspecting and packing a variety of finished goods, ensuring every product meets Nestlé’s rigorous quality standards before shipment. Your keen eye and commitment to precision will be crucial in maintaining product integrity and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspections of products for defects, damage, or inconsistencies prior to packing.
- Accurately pack finished goods into appropriate containers, boxes, or pallets according to specific guidelines.
- Verify product counts and ensure correct labeling for all outgoing shipments.
- Operate packing machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, performing basic troubleshooting as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and sanitation protocols.
- Record and report any quality issues or deviations to the shift supervisor promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure production goals and quality benchmarks are met.
- Assist with inventory counts and material handling as required.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify subtle product imperfections.
- Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Basic understanding of quality control principles.
- Capable of working effectively in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a packing, production, or quality control role, especially in food manufacturing.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Experience with inventory management systems or data entry.
