Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Live-in Carers to provide essential support to our clients in Camden, Greater London. This rewarding role involves living with a client in their home, offering continuous care and companionship, and enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Administer medication as prescribed and record accurately
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and exercises
  • Prepare healthy meals and manage household tasks, including light cleaning and laundry
  • Offer companionship, engage in meaningful activities, and provide emotional support
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social outings
  • Maintain detailed records of care provided and report any changes in client condition
  • Ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for the client
  • Adhere to care plans, policies, and procedures set by Mears Group plc

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 12 months experience in a care-giving role (formal or informal)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Willingness to live in the client's home for agreed periods
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Previous experience as a Live-in Carer
  • First Aid qualification
