Job Description
Are you a highly organised and reliable individual looking for an independent role where you can manage your own route? Selecta UK & Ireland is seeking a dedicated Vending Machine Snack Restocker to join our team in Derry. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for ensuring our network of vending machines across an independent route are fully stocked with a variety of popular snacks and beverages. A company van will be provided for your daily duties, allowing you to efficiently travel between locations. This is a hands-on position requiring excellent time management, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently plan and execute daily routes to service a designated network of vending machines.
- Restock vending machines with a wide variety of snacks, confectionery, and cold beverages.
- Monitor product levels, rotate stock, and manage inventory to prevent out-of-stock situations.
- Clean and maintain vending machines to ensure they are presentable and fully operational.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs on machines as needed.
- Handle cash collection and reconciliation accurately.
- Maintain detailed records of stock movements, sales, and machine maintenance.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients at each location.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and company policies.
Required Skills
- Full, clean UK driving license (essential for company van usage).
- Ability to lift and carry stock, and comfortable with frequent bending, lifting, and standing.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic numeracy skills for stock and cash management.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in route driving, delivery, or a similar field.
- Experience in the vending or retail industry.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for minor machine maintenance.
