Job Description
As a Reach Truck Specialist on our Night Shift team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the flow of inventory within our state-of-the-art fulfillment center in Fresno. Utilizing your expertise with reach trucks, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving products, optimizing storage, and supporting various warehouse operations to ensure timely order fulfillment. This position offers a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates committed to working our overnight schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate reach trucks and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve products.
- Load and unload trailers, ensuring proper product placement and security.
- Perform inventory transfers and cycle counts, maintaining accurate records.
- Inspect equipment daily and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, contributing to a safe working environment.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production goals.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse aisles and storage areas.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed to support operations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Ability to work the night shift schedule (e.g., 6 PM – 6 AM or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 49 pounds.
- Basic computer skills for scanning and inventory tracking.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fast-paced logistics or e-commerce fulfillment environment.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Demonstrated commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
