Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented WFH Audio Transcriber to join our remote team. This is a 100% remote, full-time position where you will be responsible for converting various audio recordings into written text with exceptional accuracy and speed. We understand the importance of having the right tools, which is why we provide all necessary equipment to ensure your success. Key Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio files, including interviews, lectures, meetings, and podcasts, into accurate written documents.
- Ensure strict adherence to Rev.com's style guides and quality standards for all transcriptions.
- Review and edit your own work for grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, punctuation, and overall clarity.
- Manage your workload efficiently to meet daily and weekly transcription deadlines.
- Utilize provided transcription software and equipment effectively.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all client audio files and sensitive information.
Required Skills
- Exceptional listening skills and a keen ear for detail.
- High level of proficiency in English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Excellent typing speed (minimum 60 WPM) and accuracy.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and maintain focus in a remote environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort with online tools and software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in audio transcription or related data entry roles.
- Familiarity with various audio accents and dialects.
- Experience with transcription software (e.g., Express Scribe, Trint).
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or a related field.
