Job Description
Peloton Interactive is seeking a passionate and digitally-savvy Yoga Community Manager to cultivate and grow our global yoga community. This role is central to engaging our yoga members, fostering a sense of belonging, and ensuring a positive, inclusive experience across all our digital platforms. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase engagement, manage community content, and act as a key liaison between our members and the Peloton brand, specifically for our yoga programs. This position operates with work-from-home flexibility, supporting our distributed team model.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement community engagement strategies specifically for Peloton's yoga members.
- Actively monitor and moderate discussions across Peloton's official social media channels, forums, and in-app communities related to yoga content.
- Create and curate engaging content (e.g., challenges, Q&As, success stories, tips) to inspire and educate the yoga community.
- Organize and facilitate virtual events, workshops, and live Q&A sessions with Peloton Yoga instructors.
- Gather community feedback, analyze trends, and report insights to product, content, and marketing teams to inform future yoga program development.
- Respond to community inquiries and provide support, escalating complex issues to appropriate departments.
- Identify and empower community ambassadors and advocates.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, content, product) to ensure consistent messaging and community initiatives.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in digital community management, social media management, or a related field.
- Proven understanding of yoga practices, philosophy, and terminology.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong ability to adapt tone for various audiences.
- Proficiency with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, YouTube) and community management tools.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to build and foster inclusive, positive online communities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- RYT-200 (Registered Yoga Teacher 200-hour) certification or equivalent.
- Experience with online fitness communities or subscription-based digital platforms.
- Familiarity with analytics tools to track community engagement metrics.
