Job Description
Are you looking for a full-time opportunity with immediate start? Amazon in Leduc is hiring Warehouse Associates! No prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive training to ensure your success. This is a physical role that involves picking, packing, and shipping customer orders, ensuring our high standards for quality and safety are met. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the efficient operation of our fulfillment center, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Receive and stow products into designated locations
- Pick customer orders for shipment using handheld scanners and other equipment
- Pack and ship orders to ensure products arrive safely and on time
- Operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts or pallet jacks after receiving certification (training provided)
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety procedures and guidelines
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily productivity goals
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure accuracy and prevent damage
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 49 lbs (22 kg) frequently
- Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliability and punctuality
- Must be at least 18 years old
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment (not required, but a plus)
- Basic computer navigation skills
