Job Description
Are you ready to jump into a fast-paced, high-energy role that keeps you active outdoors? Parkway Nissan is seeking a motivated Car Detailer to join our team immediately. This position is perfect for individuals who take pride in their work, have a keen eye for detail, and enjoy physical work in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for ensuring our vehicles look their absolute best, both inside and out, preparing them for sale and presentation to our valued customers. We offer comprehensive training for enthusiastic candidates ready to learn and grow with us.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean vehicle interiors, including vacuuming, shampooing, extracting, and treating upholstery and carpets.
- Wash, wax, and polish vehicle exteriors, ensuring a spotless and streak-free finish.
- Apply protective coatings to paint, wheels, and interior surfaces.
- Clean and dress tires and wheels.
- Remove dirt, grease, and stains from vehicle surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
- Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and quality control.
- Maintain detailing equipment and workspace in a clean and organized manner.
- Report any vehicle damage or issues discovered during the detailing process.
- Assist with moving vehicles on the lot as needed.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid G-Class Ontario Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in car detailing or a related automotive field.
- Knowledge of various detailing products and techniques.
- Ability to operate detailing equipment safely and efficiently.
