Job Description
Join the Netflix Customer Support team in South Bend, Indiana, as a Support Specialist. In this full-time, on-site role, you will be the first point of contact for our members, providing exceptional service and technical support for issues related to streaming, billing, account management, and device compatibility. This position requires a passion for helping people, excellent communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot effectively. You will work standard day shifts, Monday through Friday, ensuring our members worldwide continue to enjoy their favorite content without interruption.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide world-class customer service via phone, chat, and email to Netflix members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to streaming, device compatibility, internet connectivity, and account access.
- Assist members with billing inquiries, subscription changes, and payment updates.
- Educate members on Netflix features, plans, and content discovery.
- Accurately document all customer interactions and resolutions in our CRM system.
- Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Stay up-to-date with new Netflix features, content, and technological updates.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and meet performance metrics.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service or technical support role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Proficiency in navigating multiple computer applications and systems simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with streaming services or entertainment industry.
- Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android) and smart devices.
- Associate's degree or higher.
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk).
