Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Reach Truck Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team in Worcester, MA. This role offers high earning potential for individuals committed to safety, efficiency, and accuracy in a fast-paced logistics environment. As a Reach Truck Operator, you will be responsible for moving, stacking, and organizing products within our distribution center, ensuring the smooth flow of goods. Key Responsibilities
- Operate a reach truck safely and efficiently to move and stack products.
- Load and unload trailers, ensuring accurate documentation of inbound and outbound freight.
- Identify and report any maintenance needs or safety hazards related to equipment or the warehouse environment.
- Perform daily equipment checks and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Accurately pick and put away inventory in designated locations.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience operating a reach truck.
- Proven ability to operate material handling equipment safely and proficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems (WMS).
- OSHA forklift certification.
