Job Description

As a Netflix Twitter (X) Moderator – Trend Tracking, WFH, you will be at the forefront of our social media presence, specifically on the X platform. This is a fully remote role where you will actively monitor, engage with, and analyze conversations related to Netflix content and brand on X. Your primary focus will be to track emerging trends, identify opportunities for engagement, and ensure our brand voice is consistent and positive. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our community standards and amplifying our content’s reach by understanding the pulse of online discussions. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong understanding of social media dynamics, and a passion for entertainment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively monitor Netflix-related conversations, mentions, and trends on X (formerly Twitter) in real-time.
  • Engage with the Netflix community on X, responding to comments, questions, and feedback with accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Identify emerging trends, viral content, and potential PR opportunities or risks related to Netflix and its content.
  • Report on key insights, sentiment analysis, and community engagement metrics to internal teams.
  • Collaborate with social media, marketing, and communications teams to align on messaging and campaign execution.
  • Moderate user-generated content to ensure compliance with platform policies and Netflix's community standards.
  • Contribute to the development of strategies for increased engagement and positive brand perception on X.
  • Provide timely feedback on trending topics and user insights to inform content strategy.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in social media moderation and community management, specifically on X (Twitter).
  • Exceptional understanding of social media trends, viral content, and digital communication best practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with impeccable grammar and a keen sense of brand voice.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high levels of productivity.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify key insights from social media data.
  • Proficiency with social media monitoring and analytics tools.
  • Deep passion for entertainment, film, and TV series, with an understanding of Netflix's content library.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Experience working with global brands or in the entertainment industry.
  • Familiarity with crisis management and reputation management on social media.
  • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) for quick content creation is a plus.
  • Fluency in multiple languages is a bonus, but not required for this specific role.
