Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Remote Apple Compliance Officer with a strong regulatory focus to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role involves ensuring Accenture’s operations, client solutions, and internal processes adhere to Apple’s evolving policies, guidelines, and relevant global technology regulations. The successful candidate will navigate complex regulatory landscapes, interpret technical specifications, and translate legal requirements into actionable compliance strategies for projects heavily utilizing Apple technologies and platforms. This is a critical remote position requiring an individual who is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working autonomously while collaborating effectively with various internal and client-facing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, interpret, and disseminate updates on Apple's terms of service, developer guidelines, privacy policies, and other relevant regulatory changes impacting our use of Apple products and services.
  • Conduct regular compliance assessments and audits of internal systems, client solutions, and applications developed for Apple platforms to ensure adherence.
  • Develop and implement compliance strategies, policies, and procedures related to Apple's ecosystem and broader technology regulations (e.g., data privacy, intellectual property).
  • Provide expert guidance to development, product management, legal, and sales teams on compliance best practices and risk mitigation strategies concerning Apple technologies.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external audits pertaining to Apple compliance and regulatory matters.
  • Lead training sessions and create educational materials to foster a culture of compliance across the organization regarding Apple-specific requirements.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel to address complex compliance issues and respond to regulatory inquiries.
  • Manage and track compliance-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and corrective actions.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in regulatory compliance, legal, or audit roles within the technology sector.
  • In-depth understanding of Apple's ecosystem, including App Store Review Guidelines, developer program policies, and privacy frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of global data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and their application to mobile and software platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of translating complex legal and technical information for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency with compliance management tools and documentation best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or Juris Doctor (JD) is a plus.
  • Professional certification in compliance (e.g., CCEP, CIPP/E, CIPP/US).
  • Experience with enterprise-level deployments of Apple devices and services.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations impacting particular client sectors (e.g., healthcare, finance).
  • Experience working in a global consulting environment.
