Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Warehouse Associate at our New Port Richey facility. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of packages through our facility, from receiving and sorting to loading and dispatch. Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages from company vehicles, trailers, and conveyor belts.
- Sort packages manually and with the aid of automated systems according to destination.
- Scan and track packages accurately using handheld devices or other systems.
- Verify package contents against shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted and maneuver heavier packages with appropriate equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and data entry.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse facility.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or physical labor role.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jack, forklift certification is a plus but not required).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
