Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Remote Shopify Associate to join our growing e-commerce team. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in Nunavut. As a Shopify Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our online store, ensuring a seamless and engaging shopping experience for our customers. You will be responsible for product management, content updates, and contributing to the overall success of our digital retail strategy. This position comes with a generous signing bonus for eligible candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and update product listings, descriptions, images, and pricing on the Shopify platform.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and synchronize product availability between Shopify and internal systems.
- Process and fulfill customer orders efficiently, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Provide first-line support for customer inquiries related to products, orders, and website navigation via email and chat.
- Monitor website performance, identify potential issues, and assist in troubleshooting with technical teams.
- Implement website content updates, promotions, and marketing campaigns as directed.
- Assist in analyzing sales data and website traffic to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product development teams to ensure a consistent brand message and customer experience.
- Stay up-to-date with Shopify features, apps, and e-commerce best practices.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with the Shopify e-commerce platform.
- Proficiency in managing product catalogs, orders, and customer data within Shopify.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce operations and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS for minor website adjustments is a plus.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field.
- Experience with Shopify apps for inventory management, customer service, or marketing.
- Familiarity with digital marketing concepts (SEO, SEM, social media marketing).
- Basic graphic design skills (e.g., using Canva or similar tools).
- Experience with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
