Job Description

Macy’s in Vacaville is seeking a dynamic Student Retail Partner to join our team. This role is perfect for individuals looking to balance their studies with a rewarding part-time position, focusing on high street brand engagement. You will be instrumental in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers, assisting with merchandising, sales, and customer service. Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to provide outstanding service, product knowledge, and styling advice.
- Assist customers with locating merchandise, trying on items, and completing purchases.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring merchandise is presented according to brand standards.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Replenish stock on the sales floor and assist with inventory management.
- Support visual merchandising efforts to highlight high street brand collections and promotions.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and create a positive shopping atmosphere.
- Stay informed about current fashion trends, store promotions, and product features.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in a high school or college program.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A genuine interest in fashion and retail.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic math and computer literacy.
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
