Job Description
Are you a motivated and enthusiastic 13-year-old looking for a fun and rewarding summer opportunity? Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation is seeking a Lemonade Stand Associate to help operate our community lemonade stand! This is a fantastic chance to gain valuable experience in customer service, sales, and basic money management while enjoying the beautiful Carmel summer. You’ll be part of a vibrant team, learn new skills, and earn cash for your hard work.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve refreshing lemonade to customers with a smile.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and make change.
- Maintain a clean and tidy lemonade stand area.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and polite manner.
- Assist with setting up and taking down the stand each day.
- Ensure adequate supplies of lemons, sugar, ice, and cups are on hand.
- Promote the lemonade stand to passersby.
- Adhere to all safety and hygiene guidelines.
Required Skills
- Must be 13 years old.
- Positive attitude and a friendly demeanor.
- Basic math skills for handling money.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Enthusiasm for providing excellent customer service.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with a lemonade stand (even your own!) is a plus.
- A passion for delicious beverages and community interaction.
- Creativity in decorating the stand or attracting customers.
