Job Description
As an Apple Creative with a Photography & Video Teaching focus, you will inspire and educate customers on how to get the most out of their Apple products for creative expression. You will lead engaging workshops, provide insightful one-on-one coaching, and share your passion for photography and videography, demonstrating how Apple devices and software can unlock their potential. This role requires a deep understanding of visual storytelling principles and the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences, from beginners to more advanced users. You will be a vital part of our retail team, helping foster a community of creators and problem-solvers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct dynamic and informative workshops on photography and video editing techniques using Apple products like iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
- Provide personalized guidance and support to customers seeking to enhance their creative projects.
- Stay comprehensively up-to-date with the latest Apple products, features, and creative applications (e.g., Photos, iMovie, Final Cut Pro).
- Collaborate effectively with the store team to create an inviting, educational, and inspiring environment for all visitors.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, offering tailored recommendations primarily related to creative uses and solutions.
- Actively participate in ongoing training and development programs to continuously refine creative and instructional skills.
Required Skills
- Expertise in fundamental photography and videography principles and techniques (composition, lighting, editing).
- Proficiency with Apple products (iPhone, iPad, Mac) and native creative software (e.g., Photos, iMovie, Clips).
- Exceptional presentation, public speaking, and teaching skills with a proven ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, capable of building rapport and trust with customers.
- A genuine passion for technology, visual arts, and empowering others to explore their creative potential.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a teaching, training, or public speaking role, especially in a technology or creative field.
- A professional portfolio demonstrating high-quality photography and video work.
- Prior experience in retail or a customer service environment, ideally in a premium brand setting.
- Certification or advanced knowledge in specific creative software applications beyond Apple's native suite.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in photography, film, digital media, or a related creative discipline.
