Job Description

We are seeking an exceptionally talented and detail-oriented Audio Mixing Specialist to join our Post-Production team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere. You will be responsible for meticulously mixing and balancing audio tracks for a diverse range of musical genres and projects, ensuring the highest standards of clarity, depth, and sonic impact. Your work will directly influence the final quality of our artists’ releases, demanding a keen ear, technical mastery, and an unwavering commitment to precision. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-precision audio mixing for various projects, including singles, albums, and multimedia content.
  • Balance levels, pan, apply equalization, compression, and time-based effects (reverb, delay, etc.) to achieve optimal sonic results.
  • Collaborate closely with producers, artists, and sound engineers to understand creative vision and translate it into polished mixes.
  • Conduct thorough quality control checks to identify and correct any sonic imperfections, ensuring pristine audio delivery.
  • Manage project timelines efficiently, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Maintain an organized workflow, including session management, file naming conventions, and archival practices.
  • Stay current with industry trends, software advancements, and mixing techniques to continuously enhance skill set.

Required Skills

  • Expert proficiency in industry-standard DAWs (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live).
  • Deep understanding of acoustic principles, psychoacoustics, and signal flow.
  • Demonstrable experience in advanced mixing techniques, including dynamic processing, spectral analysis, and spatialization.
  • Proficiency with a wide array of audio plugins and hardware emulations.
  • Exceptional critical listening skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaborative abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering, Music Production, or a related field.
  • Certifications in specific DAWs or audio engineering disciplines.
