Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Chauffeur I to join our executive services team in Akron, Ohio. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals eager to start a career in professional driving and executive transport. You will be responsible for providing safe, timely, and comfortable transportation for our executives and special guests, ensuring a premium service experience. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport executives, clients, and guests to various destinations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and immaculate condition of company vehicles.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and operational readiness.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Manage schedules and routes effectively to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
- Assist passengers with luggage and other personal items as needed.
- Maintain a high level of discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Communicate effectively with passengers and dispatch regarding schedules or potential delays.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
Required Skills
- Valid U.S. Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Excellent knowledge of local traffic laws and routes within Akron and surrounding areas.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
- Punctual and reliable with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in customer service or a service-oriented role.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience with luxury vehicle operation.
