Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Remote Chat Specialist to join our team, focusing exclusively on text-based customer support. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home. You will be the first point of contact for customers, providing solutions and support through various digital channels such as live chat, email, and social media. Your primary goal will be to resolve customer inquiries efficiently and effectively, ensuring a positive customer experience without any voice interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers through text-based channels (chat, email, social media) to address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide information.
- Accurately diagnose and troubleshoot customer problems, guiding them through solutions with clear and concise written communication.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering prompt, professional, and empathetic support.
- Document all customer interactions and resolutions accurately in the CRM system.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Identify and escalate complex issues to senior support staff when necessary.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance product knowledge and support skills.
Required Skills
- Excellent written communication and grammar skills in English.
- Proficiency in typing and navigating multiple systems simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable with technology and quick to learn new software.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated quiet workspace.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a text-based customer service or chat support role.
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zendesk).
- Experience working in a remote capacity.
- Associate’s degree or higher.
