Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced SEO Copywriter with a strong focus on blog content and product descriptions to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating compelling, keyword-rich content that not only ranks high in search engine results but also engages our target audience and drives conversions. You will work closely with SEO specialists, content strategists, and marketing teams to develop and execute content plans that align with client objectives and industry best practices. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and write high-quality, SEO-optimized blog posts, articles, and long-form content based on keyword research and content strategies.
- Craft persuasive and informative product descriptions, category pages, and landing page copy that highlights key features and benefits.
- Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-value terms and integrate them naturally into content.
- Collaborate with SEO strategists to ensure content adheres to the latest search engine guidelines and best practices.
- Analyze content performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Proofread and edit content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, clarity, and adherence to brand voice and style guides.
- Stay up-to-date with SEO trends, algorithm changes, and content marketing innovations.
- Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an SEO Copywriter or Content Writer with a focus on blogs and product descriptions.
- Demonstrable understanding of SEO principles, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and content structuring.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with impeccable grammar and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Google Keyword Planner).
- Ability to write in various tones and styles to suit different clients and target audiences.
- Strong research skills to gather information from diverse sources and translate complex topics into engaging content.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a range of SEO-optimized blog posts and product descriptions.
