Job Description
WVU Medicine is seeking a professional and reliable Corporate Sedan Driver to join our executive support team. This full-time position, with a consistent Monday to Friday schedule, is crucial for ensuring the safe, timely, and comfortable transportation of executives, key personnel, and sometimes VIP guests or patients. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to safety, discretion, and a professional demeanor at all times. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and operational readiness of the assigned corporate vehicle and adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role offers an opportunity to be a vital part of a leading healthcare institution, contributing to its smooth operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport executives, guests, or patients to various destinations as scheduled.
- Maintain strict adherence to traffic laws and regulations.
- Ensure the corporate vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and fully operational before and after each use.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Manage routes and schedules effectively to ensure punctuality.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding passengers and their conversations.
- Assist passengers with luggage or other items as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service with a professional and courteous attitude.
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and travel times.
Required Skills
- Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a professional driver (corporate, limousine, or executive transport preferred).
- Excellent knowledge of West Virginia road networks, especially the Morgantown area.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
- Proficiency with GPS and navigation systems.
- Ability to lift and carry luggage.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Advanced defensive driving certification.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Experience working in a corporate or healthcare environment.
- Familiarity with luxury vehicle operations and maintenance.
