Job Description
Join DPD as a flexible Courier Driver in Peterborough and take control of your work schedule. You’ll be responsible for the efficient collection and delivery of parcels, ensuring they reach our customers safely and on time. Key Responsibilities
- Collect parcels from the depot and plan an efficient delivery route.
- Deliver parcels to residential and business customers within specified timeframes.
- Ensure accurate scanning and recording of all parcel movements.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor issues professionally.
- Maintain the cleanliness and good working order of your delivery vehicle.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
Required Skills
- Full, clean UK driving licence (Category B)
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Reliable and self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Ability to lift and carry parcels of varying weights and sizes
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a driving or delivery role is a plus but not essential.
- Good knowledge of the local Peterborough and Cambridgeshire area.
- Customer service experience.
