Job Description
We are seeking a highly meticulous and analytical Data Integrity Specialist to join our AI Precision team in Reno, NV. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the highest quality and reliability of data used to train and validate our cutting-edge AI models. Your work will directly impact the performance and safety of our autonomous systems and other AI-driven technologies. You will be responsible for developing and implementing data validation processes, identifying and resolving data anomalies, and collaborating closely with AI engineers and data scientists to maintain optimal data pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust data quality assurance processes and standards for AI training datasets.
- Conduct thorough data validation, cleansing, and normalization to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve data integrity issues, root causes, and discrepancies using various tools and techniques.
- Collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, and software developers to understand data requirements and integrate data quality checks into existing workflows.
- Monitor data pipelines for anomalies and performance degradation, implementing proactive solutions.
- Document data definitions, schemas, quality rules, and integrity procedures.
- Participate in the design and implementation of new data collection and storage initiatives, ensuring data integrity considerations are embedded from the outset.
- Provide regular reports on data quality metrics and data integrity status to relevant stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data quality, data integrity, data analysis, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and analysis.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
- Experience with data cleansing, validation, and transformation techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with large datasets and database management systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for data processing and automation.
- Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and AI model training data requirements.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to present data quality insights.
