Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Verification Clerk to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data within various Google-centric databases. This is a critical position that directly contributes to the quality and reliability of information used across our projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced virtual environment. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of data entries in Google databases and associated platforms.
  • Identify and correct discrepancies, errors, and inconsistencies in data.
  • Perform regular data audits and quality checks to maintain high data integrity standards.
  • Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex data issues and improve data quality processes.
  • Document findings and update records systematically.
  • Adhere to data privacy and security policies.
  • Generate basic reports on data verification progress and error rates.
  • Stay updated on Google database best practices and tools relevant to data verification.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks remotely
  • Basic understanding of data entry and verification principles
  • Reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience with data verification or quality assurance roles
  • Familiarity with SQL or other database query languages (basic level)
  • Experience using data validation tools or software
  • Certification in data management or related fields
  • A degree or certificate in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
