Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Recruitment Aide with a focus on talent sourcing to join our Electronic Arts team in Evanston, Illinois. In this vital role, you will support our recruiting efforts by identifying, engaging, and nurturing top talent across various disciplines within the gaming industry. You will be instrumental in building robust candidate pipelines, conducting initial outreach, and ensuring a seamless candidate experience from the very first touchpoint. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to learn the intricacies of talent acquisition in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively source potential candidates through various channels including LinkedIn, applicant tracking systems (ATS), industry events, and professional networks.
- Conduct initial outreach to candidates, effectively communicating job opportunities and company culture.
- Assist recruiters in managing candidate pipelines, scheduling interviews, and coordinating logistics.
- Maintain and update candidate records within the ATS, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
- Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to identify diverse talent pools.
- Prepare candidate summaries and interview briefs for hiring managers and recruiters.
- Support ad-hoc recruitment projects and initiatives as needed.
Required Skills
- 1.5+ years of experience in a recruitment support or talent sourcing role.
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), preferably Workday or similar.
- Demonstrated ability to use LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience working within the entertainment, technology, or gaming industry.
- Familiarity with employer branding and candidate engagement best practices.
- Understanding of various recruiting metrics and reporting.
