Job Description
BayCare Health System is seeking a highly professional and experienced Executive SUV Driver to provide safe, reliable, and discreet transportation services for our senior executives and VIP guests. This role requires an individual with exceptional driving skills, a strong commitment to punctuality, confidentiality, and superior customer service, especially in varying weather conditions. The ideal candidate will be adept at navigating Florida roads, maintaining a luxury SUV fleet, and demonstrating impeccable professionalism at all times. You will be an integral part of ensuring our executives arrive at their destinations safely and comfortably.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport BayCare executives and VIP guests to various appointments, meetings, airports, and events.
- Plan optimal routes using GPS and real-time traffic updates to ensure timely arrivals.
- Maintain the cleanliness, fuel levels, and overall pristine condition of assigned executive vehicles, performing daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and BayCare safety policies.
- Demonstrate advanced defensive driving techniques and operate vehicles safely in all weather conditions, including heavy rain and low visibility.
- Manage scheduling and coordinate logistics with executive assistants to ensure seamless travel plans.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all passenger conversations and destinations.
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage and personal belongings.
- Complete and submit accurate mileage logs, expense reports, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Provide professional and courteous service, anticipating passenger needs without being intrusive.
Required Skills
- Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a professional driver, preferably for executives or VIPs.
- Excellent knowledge of local and regional routes in Florida, particularly the Tampa Bay area.
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Impeccable personal presentation and professional demeanor.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Proficiency with GPS navigation systems and smartphone applications.
- Demonstrated ability to drive safely and confidently in all weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college education preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Experience with luxury vehicle maintenance and detailing.
- Advanced defensive driving course completion.
- Customer service experience in a hospitality or corporate environment.
