Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented FedEx Claims Processor – Insurance & Shipping Admin to join our team in Aurora, Colorado. In this role, you will be responsible for processing shipping and insurance claims, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring accurate documentation. You will serve as a critical point of contact for customers and internal departments regarding claims status, requiring excellent communication and problem-solving skills. This position plays a vital role in maintaining customer satisfaction and protecting company assets by ensuring all claims are handled efficiently and in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and review shipping and insurance claims submitted by customers or internal stakeholders.
- Investigate claim discrepancies by reviewing shipping manifests, tracking data, proof of delivery, and other relevant documentation.
- Communicate professionally with customers, insurance providers, and internal departments regarding claim status, required documentation, and resolution outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claims, investigations, and communications in the claims management system.
- Ensure all claims are processed within established service level agreements (SLAs) and in compliance with FedEx policies and industry regulations.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on claims trends, common issues, and resolution metrics for management review.
- Assist in identifying root causes of claims and contribute to process improvement initiatives to minimize future occurrences.
