Job Description

Join Lamb Weston as an experienced Forklift Operator II, where you will be an essential part of our dynamic warehouse and production operations in Pasco, WA. This role requires a high level of precision, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to efficiently move and organize materials within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts to load, unload, stack, and move products, ensuring adherence to all company safety protocols and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate stand-up, sit-down, and reach forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve products and materials.
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper documentation and secure transportation of goods.
  • Perform daily pre-operation checks on equipment and report any malfunctions or damage.
  • Maintain organized and clean work areas, adhering to 5S principles and food safety standards.
  • Accurately track inventory movements using handheld scanners or warehouse management systems.
  • Support production lines by supplying materials and removing finished goods.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and quality control procedures.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of verifiable forklift operating experience (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck).
  • Valid forklift certification.
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and practices.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a food manufacturing or cold storage environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience with automated material handling equipment.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude for minor equipment troubleshooting.
