Job Description
As a Front Desk Representative at Target, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will manage customer inquiries, assist with returns and exchanges, process payments, and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area. This role requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests warmly upon their arrival.
- Provide accurate information and assistance to guests regarding store products, services, and policies.
- Process returns, exchanges, and resolve customer complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems for transactions, including cash, credit, and gift card payments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front desk area.
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department.
- Assist with store promotions, loyalty programs, and guest surveys.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless guest service.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
- Proficiency in basic computer operations and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Problem-solving skills and a calm demeanor under pressure.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service role.
