Job Description
Are you a budding graphic designer eager to kickstart your career in a dynamic agency environment? Connect Communication is offering an exciting Graphic Design Internship with a strong focus on mentorship. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior designers with various graphic design tasks, including creating concepts, layouts, and final artwork.
- Support the production of marketing materials such as brochures, social media graphics, website assets, and presentations.
- Conduct research on design trends, competitor analysis, and client-specific industry insights.
- Prepare design files for print and digital distribution, ensuring accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to client projects.
- Learn and apply feedback from mentors to improve design skills and workflow efficiency.
- Maintain organized digital asset libraries.
Required Skills
- Basic proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory.
- Excellent visual communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to take direction and constructive criticism.
- Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude.
- A compelling portfolio showcasing personal design projects (academic or self-initiated).
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree/diploma program in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Familiarity with web design principles (UX/UI basic understanding).
- Experience with animation software (e.g., After Effects) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of marketing concepts and social media platforms.
