Job Description
Are you physically fit, reliable, and ready to start work immediately? Two Men and a Truck in Pueblo, Colorado, is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Heavy Furniture Shifters. This is a full-time, on-site position for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in delivering exceptional service. No prior experience is required, but a strong work ethic and the ability to lift heavy items consistently are essential. You’ll be responsible for safely and efficiently moving furniture and other belongings for our valued residential and commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load and unload furniture, boxes, and other belongings onto and off of moving trucks.
- Handle all items with care to prevent damage during transit and moving processes.
- Pack and unpack items as needed, ensuring proper protection and organization.
- Disassemble and reassemble furniture when required.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to ensure a smooth moving experience.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor with customers.
- Assist with truck setup and cleanup.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy furniture and boxes (75+ lbs) repeatedly.
- Excellent physical stamina and endurance.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a careful approach to handling customer property.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in moving, warehousing, or physically demanding roles is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
