Job Description
The High School Office Partner plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficient daily operations of our school office, with a particular emphasis on administrative support and meticulous filing systems. This position is vital for ensuring smooth communication, organized record-keeping, and providing essential support to students, staff, and parents. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent interpersonal skills, contributing to a positive and productive school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain comprehensive filing systems (digital and physical) for student records, staff documents, and general administrative files.
- Process incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail, emails, and internal communications.
- Provide front-desk support, greeting visitors, answering phones, and directing inquiries appropriately.
- Assist with data entry, report generation, and the preparation of various administrative documents.
- Support school events, meetings, and activities through logistical planning and administrative tasks.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive information and records.
- Order and manage office supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Collaborate effectively with other office staff, teachers, and school administrators.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and filing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous administrative or office experience, particularly in an educational setting.
- Familiarity with school information systems (e.g., AERIES, PowerSchool).
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or higher preferred.
