Job Description
Are you a motivated 16-year-old high school student looking for your first job experience? McDonald’s in Elk Grove, CA, is seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our crew for afternoon shifts. Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers with a friendly attitude and take accurate orders.
- Prepare food and beverages according to McDonald's quality standards.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including dining areas and kitchen.
- Handle cash and card transactions with precision.
- Work effectively as part of a team to maintain fast and efficient service.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Assist with opening or closing duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Must be 16 years old at the time of application.
- Ability to work afternoon shifts (e.g., 3 PM – 9 PM) on weekdays and weekends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Punctual and reliable.
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Positive attitude and a customer-focused approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or a team environment (e.g., school clubs, volunteer work) is a plus, but not required.

- Availability for additional shifts during school breaks.
