Job Description
Target is seeking enthusiastic and motivated high school students for various summer positions in our Virginia Beach stores. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable work experience, develop new skills, and contribute to a dynamic team environment. You’ll learn the fundamentals of retail operations, customer service, and teamwork, all while making a difference in your local community.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with inquiries and locate products.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Stock shelves and ensure product availability.
- Support cashiers and other team members as needed.
- Adhere to all safety and operational guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in high school.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, during the summer months (June-August).
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous volunteer experience or involvement in school clubs.
- Basic knowledge of retail operations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
