Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Energy Sector Clerk to join our team in Bakersfield. This full-time, on-site position operates Monday through Friday, focusing on providing essential administrative support to various departments within our dynamic energy operations. The ideal candidate will be meticulous, possess strong communication skills, and be proficient in standard office software. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient record-keeping, data management, and general office functions, directly supporting our operational goals and ensuring smooth day-to-day activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties including data entry, filing, and record keeping.
- Manage and organize physical and electronic documents, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Assist with processing invoices, expense reports, and other financial documentation.
- Prepare and format reports, presentations, and correspondence as directed.
- Coordinate office supplies, equipment maintenance, and general office upkeep.
- Support various departments with ad-hoc tasks and special projects.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information and company records.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors as needed.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
