Job Description

Armstrong World Industries is seeking dedicated Industrial Packers to join our dynamic team in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. As an Industrial Packer, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing and distribution process, ensuring our products are safely and securely packaged for shipment. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. We operate Monday to Friday, providing a consistent schedule that supports work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately count, weigh, and package finished goods according to specifications.
- Inspect products for quality control, ensuring they meet company standards before packing.
- Operate manual and semi-automatic packing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Label packages correctly and prepare them for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets.
- Assist with inventory management and material handling as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks requiring manual dexterity and physical stamina.
- Basic understanding of quality control principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform bending, reaching, and lifting.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehousing, or industrial packing role.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
- Forklift certification or experience operating pallet jacks.
