Job Description

Join Mel Hambelton Ford as an Entry Level Interior Specialist. This role is perfect for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a passion for automotive aesthetics. You will be responsible for ensuring the interior of our vehicles, both new and used, meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. This includes detailed cleaning, conditioning, and light restoration work on various interior surfaces. No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training to help you succeed in this rewarding role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough cleaning and detailing of vehicle interiors, including vacuuming, shampooing, and stain removal.
  • Clean and condition leather, vinyl, and plastic surfaces.
  • Polish and clean interior trim, dashboards, and door panels.
  • Clean windows, mirrors, and interior glass to a streak-free finish.
  • Identify and report any damage or issues found during the detailing process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and use appropriate cleaning products and equipment.
  • Assist with other light vehicle preparation tasks as needed.

Required Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to notice imperfections.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to work with various tools and cleaning products.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Basic understanding of safety procedures for handling chemicals.
