Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and organized Inventory Clerk to join our team at the Victorville distribution center, supporting our Houston Oil Tool Warehouse operations. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate tracking, storage, and distribution of a wide range of oil tools and related industrial equipment. This is a day shift position, crucial for maintaining our operational efficiency and meeting our commitments to clients in the demanding oil and gas sector. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments of oil tools and industrial equipment.
  • Accurately record inventory data, including item descriptions, quantities, and locations, using inventory management systems.
  • Organize and store items in designated warehouse locations, ensuring optimal space utilization and easy accessibility.
  • Pick and pack orders for outbound shipments, verifying accuracy against order documentation.
  • Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (certification preferred).
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper handling of all materials.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other warehouse staff and departments to ensure smooth operational flow.
  • Report any inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or safety concerns to the supervisor.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic computer proficiency and experience with inventory tracking software or systems.
  • Ability to accurately count, measure, and record data.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all safety protocols.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory management role, preferably with industrial equipment or heavy goods.
  • Forklift certification or ability to obtain one.
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP/WMS systems.
  • Familiarity with oilfield equipment or related industrial parts.
