Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Junior Energy Systems Aide with a focus on IT Infrastructure to join our growing team in Vacaville, CA. This entry-level role is perfect for a recent graduate or individual looking to kickstart their career in the dynamic intersection of energy systems and information technology. You will play a crucial supporting role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our critical IT infrastructure that underpins our energy operations. This involves assisting with system monitoring, troubleshooting, data management, and contributing to infrastructure projects, all while learning from experienced professionals in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring IT infrastructure components related to energy systems, including servers, networks, and applications.
- Provide first-line support for IT-related issues affecting energy system operations, escalating complex problems as needed.
- Help maintain and update IT documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and inventory.
- Participate in the deployment and configuration of new hardware and software within the energy IT environment.
- Support data collection and analysis efforts to identify trends and potential issues in IT infrastructure performance.
- Collaborate with senior technicians and engineers on infrastructure projects and routine maintenance tasks.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure concepts (networking, operating systems, hardware).
