Job Description
Are you a motivated and aspiring developer eager to kickstart your career in modern web development? SAIC is seeking a Junior Microsoft Web Developer to join our innovative team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with foundational knowledge in Microsoft technologies and a passion for learning and implementing cutting-edge frameworks. You will work on exciting projects, contributing to the development of robust and scalable web applications that support critical missions. This is a fully remote position, allowing you the flexibility to work from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of web applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code in accordance with SAIC standards.
- Collaborate with senior developers and team members to understand project requirements and deliver solutions.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues, providing timely resolutions.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, especially within the Microsoft ecosystem and front-end frameworks.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.
Required Skills
- Foundational understanding of C# and .NET framework (or .NET Core)
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server)
- Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with a modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure)
