Job Description
We are seeking a highly professional and experienced Luxury Van Chauffeur with a dedicated focus on group transfers to join our elite team in Newark, NJ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing safe, punctual, and high-quality transportation services to our diverse clientele. This role specifically emphasizes managing and executing group transfers, requiring excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to client comfort and satisfaction. You will operate luxury vans, ensuring all passengers experience the highest standard of service and discretion.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate luxury vans for group transfers, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Plan and execute efficient routes, considering traffic, road conditions, and client schedules, especially for multiple passenger pickups/drop-offs.
- Assist passengers with luggage and provide excellent customer service, ensuring their comfort and needs are met.
- Maintain the cleanliness and pristine condition of assigned vehicles, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Manage time effectively to ensure punctuality for all scheduled transfers and appointments.
- Communicate professionally and courteously with clients, dispatch, and colleagues.
- Adapt to changing schedules or unexpected situations with grace and professionalism.
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion regarding client information and travel details.
- Process necessary paperwork, including trip manifests and expense reports, accurately and on time.
Required Skills
- Valid US Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional chauffeuring or high-end driving experience.
- Excellent knowledge of the Newark, New Jersey, and surrounding tri-state area roadways.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively and adhere to strict schedules.
- Impeccable personal presentation and professional demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lift and carry luggage (up to 50 lbs).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience specifically with luxury van models (e.g., Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, Executive Vans).
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement.
- Certification in defensive driving or advanced driver training.
- Multilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish or other widely spoken languages in the region.
- Experience with GPS and dispatch software systems.
